He might not sign the contract by Koemans deadline, but Ross will still be with us next season and will sign eventually.
I'm 99% sure of it, I just can't see him choosing to leave. If I'm wrong and he signs for West Ham or some other rubbish then MEH. Football is football and we'll sign someone better to replace him.

I've certainly never suggested that Martinez got any financial gain from any of his transfers, I think you've mixed me up with someone else

I'm hardly a massive Martinez fan, but I'd never accuse him of skimming money off a transfer. There's nothing to suggest he ever did anything like that.

He may have signed some players that flopped, and may also have signed certain players because he knew them and wanted some of his "boys" in the dressing room regardless of what they could bring to the table, but I don't think there's any evidence that he benefited financially from doing so
