I've certainly never suggested that Martinez got any financial gain from any of his transfers, I think you've mixed me up with someone else

I'm hardly a massive Martinez fan, but I'd never accuse him of skimming money off a transfer. There's nothing to suggest he ever did anything like that.

He may have signed some players that flopped, and may also have signed certain players because he knew them and wanted some of his "boys" in the dressing room regardless of what they could bring to the table, but I don't think there's any evidence that he benefited financially from doing so

Apologies, I was thinking of your Alcaraz conspiracy! Sorry!

Ive never thought there was anything odd about that transfer, its was just an awful buy and that's it, it happends, crap player bought by the crapest of managers.

As for Barkley, I could see him going to West Ham, bidding war between them and Newcastle

Good lateral thinking. Of course it would leave the old cliche of "I want CL Footie or else" on one side.

Unless Eriksen leaves Spurs, I just can't see him starting there. Maybe he and Sissoko can become mates on the bench. And Arsenal have loadsa
midfielders and I can't see him starting there either.

So ,maybe WHU makes sense.

Another plus for West Ham is the fans being miles away from the pitch so he cant hear people groaning!!

It's not looking good is it?The week is nearly up and Ross still hasn't committed his future to Everton.I've kind of accepted that he's going. It's not a good sign that he still hasn't signed with the week nearly up.

Sigurdsson touted for a return to Spurs.
Pochettino saying a better and cheaper option than Barkley.
One of his possible destinations gone then.

If they wanted less media attraction why would big gob be mentioning it every time a reporter puts a microphone under his nose?

You mean whenever he is ASKED about him?
You know he answers questions right? That's the whole point of the conference ... he doesn't just walk around talking to himself about ross Barkley

He initiated it all and gave the message throughout this season that he was well up for questions about Barkley.

Dont be making excuses for him.
