I would say the club and Ross are in conclave at the moment, the delay to me seems as if there is progress behind the scenes.

he said that the board would have talks with him and the player monday, and they'd release a statement in due course.

But with everything else that's going on, maybe it'll be a few days. Let's just see.

I don't think the club will be releasing a statement any time soon - if it's today it'll be later on.

For obvious reasons.

After that performance I would be more annoyed at any of our players walking off that pitch looking owt other "glum" if I am honest with you

But he was one of the undisputed stars of that team and he helped get us i to the CL. This team containing Barkley, which most would say is a better team, hasnt come close. I am not attacking Barkley because of that, just making the point that attacking Arteta because we didnt win anything with him in the team is a double edged sword, and the same criticism can be levied against Barkley?

Im highlighting that his numbers and what he did in big games is actually lower and less than what Ross has done, in half the games.

The stick Ross is getting is injustified, and this comparison to me shows that fans treat local lads and fancy sounding forigners different.
