It's not the fans who have to sign it's the player who has to do the signing, and so far he has chosen not to, that is the crux of the problem not Koeman.

I genuinely think they must be in contract negotiations with his agent. Let's face it if he was leaving Ross or agent would have come out with a statement yesterday stating he wasn't signing a new contract. The delay I feel is the club and agent making concessions either way, the club has probably come up with a better offer and ross' agent might have lowered their demands.

If Ross had signed the contract when offered or rejected it there would have been no more discussion on the matter. Instead he has done neither, and left the club , the manager,and us fans in limbo. As I've said before it is Barkley who has brought about this situation not the manager. He needs to sign up or sign out.
Why did we not attempt to sign Ross at the beginimg of last season an England international?
Yet we do cartwheels for a player like Lukaku who stated he would only stay for champions league football offering him record wages imo we have made a mess so far in both cases !

Lukaku wants out and now maybe young Ross I feel if we could keep both fine- but Lukarkus fee with two years on it will fetch more money in for replacements than to sell Ross with one year left - my point is this should have been boxed off last year pre season our manager has publicly blamed him all season imo!

Do you not think we were in contact with his agent or whatever way before the reporters first questioned Koeman on the issue? Everton have been pretty good at getting players to sign extensions of late and I find it unlikely that they didn't attempt to tie Barkley down much earlier on. If he has a problem with the manager then fine don't sign,these things happen in all walks of life. But at least have the courtesy to inform your manager of your intentions, and allow him to plan for next season ,which begins early this year don't forget.
Again , it's Barkley who has dicked our club about, not Koeman.
