Not sure why people are saying he has been left out of the England squad, was ever likely to be in it? Its a reality check this, maybe not for him but if the club think they can get 50m for him they are crazy, not even worth the 100k we have offered him, get 25m and move on quick.

He's comfortably worth the £100k, and £25m would be basically giving him away.

I used Alli as an example, it wasn't a direct comparison
I don't know how much Alli gets, it was an example, I didn't mention Alli's wage. Where in my post did I mention his wage? I meant across the set-up, the young lads, the flash harries.
My post does make sense, you're reading it wrong.
It doesn't matter if the players are international regulars, when you get talking or are mixing with a different group of players your mind can always be put in doubt. "I want what he's getting" syndrome. It's human nature
 
Many I love Ross and want him to stay but he's not even a nailed on starter for us every week, he's being left out of the England squad or not playing after being picked. We're not getting 50 million for him. For the life of me I can't understand why he hasn't signed.

Because his agent wants some transfer moolah and Ross isn't very bright
 
Does it really matter??? they're all overpaid buffoons. If he or anyone else doesn't want 25k, 50k or 75k for kicking a bag of wind around, don't worry yourself. They are merely employees and none of them could give a f-ck about Everton. Please don't fool yourself into the 'he's one of us' b_llocks.......because he isn't.
We're the fans they're not, let him and any of the others who might want to leave do what they want, they'll move on and so will we.
Really don't get why grown men get all sentimental over these tossers who are paid far too much...............more than a years salary for a Doctor, work it out and get real.

I'd be gobsmacked if we took any less than £30m for him, realistically closer to £40m.

People are not understanding how the market has gone, especially with China flooding elite European clubs with money. It's doubled for certain players, and even with his contract in mind, we should easily get around £35-40m for him.

Incredible that you think the level of clubs that will be seriously looking at him, will have £35-£40m to just stump up out of nowhere (please don't be silly and suggest Spurs or United want him)

The might of the Chinese spending power has effectively been halved today. A 100% transfer levy has been implemented. So a 50m player now costs a club 100m with 50m going to the Chinese government.
 
Maybe he is waiting to see who we sign .. to see the clubs ambition is real like we all hope. Maybe he'll sign mid august after a couple of top players are in the squad.

Pointless as he won't get a game by that point, we'll have someone better for his position.
