Not in the England squad... Gareth Southgate having a laugh, thought he met him and reassured him?

Not to sure it was reassuring more like nudging him to move on, Southgate you crab.

No club will pay 50 million, and the reported higher wage allegedly Ross has been offered - so maybe the board are testing him out so he may see sense, and sign- as I stated before this would have better handled in house no ultimatums etc etc !
Lukaku may go no ultimatums for him hey!
Lukaku is in a different scenario as he has 2 years left. As I have said on here before, I think we will hang onto him and that is why he will not sign a new contract as he knows no-one will pay our asking price and with only 12 months left he will become affordable/value to the clubs he would like to go to. I wouldn't be entirely surprised if he signs a new contract after the transfer window which includes a release clause for next summer at a value close to the highest bid received this summer.

As every day passes it looks more and more likely that Everton are actively looking to offload Ross to the highest bidder, unless of course the player, agent & Club are still negotiating terms - unlikely given the time frame.

This contract situation should have been resolved at least one year ago & we have the Club to thank for this mess, nobody else.

If he doesn't resign, I'll bet (gut feeling) that Newcastle come in with a big offer for him - non-weasel information sadly.

The club could and maybe should have got it sorted earlier but, bare in mind, we didn't have a manager this time a year ago.

Nobody in their right mind would have extended a two-year deal (if you were in Ross' shoes) and tbh not one player from that season deserved an extension.

Let's get it right. There's been a very good offer on the table for at least four months now.

For whatever reason, Ross hasn't signed it. And despite Koeman's requests, he and his reps haven't made it clear what they will do.

We can't allow this to drag on into the start of next season.

Sign, or be sold. That's the message.

He'll be living it up on the nightlife in Newcastle
