I don't doubt there's some brinksmanship to it all but for a lot of fans it sours impressions when there's a local lad turning his nose up at a new contract from Everton.

In fairness if shouldn't have been left this late but Barkley dragging his heels won't curry him any favour in the city.

Even if he signs he'll be gone within a year. Supporters get taken for mugs all the time but a lot now think this is just pure greed...bleeding shame but the lad has been badly advised.........
