That's not being bullied out of the club.

If you think offering a contract to a player, the manager saying he wants said player to sign the contract and then saying if he doesn't he will be sold because it's a business is bullying, then I think you need to look up the definition

I don't think the fans will ever know why Barkley won't sign the contract. I guess it is about the wages. Football is a business. Players come players go.

Don't be silly. Nobody can make a judgement on this before knowing what the contract is we've offered him.

Yeah, if he is on £50k now and we offered him £55k then he is bound to refuse it. If we have offered to double his wages or more and he has turned it down then it isn't the club at fault but the player. We may never know the full story on this one whatever happens.


Just guessing the wage he is already on, have no idea and don't really care.

Exactly an ultimatum the tranfer market starts the 1st of july he announced that before the Arsenal game ULTIMATUMS!!!!

it wasn't 3 months it was 6/7 weeks before the window opened but more importantly it was immediately before the club start acting on pursuing targets needed...it seems you'd prefer the club to wait on Barkley and his agent before doing any transfer business

you keep saying this! In my experience when a player wants to leave they say so, when the contract isn't good enough they say so...the way Barkley and co are acting is unusual and imo disrespectful so it warrants an unusual response...

It's what we believe in and I believe the club had offered him a fair deal. Baines, Coleman and Mirallas etc had no problem of signing new deals though. I guess his agent wants him to be the top earner and the board and manager believe his performance did not reflect he warrents such contract. Purely guessing.

Ross is our main man and played most games last year... therefore the club need to know if he needs replacing or not... look man I know you're upset about him more than likely leaving but you're grasping at straws trying to blame the club and/or manager

Davek has an opinion and the are more lovers of Ross than haters if he signs and plays well I shall return to this thread,and rub your noses in it!
The bile on here for a home grown talent is horrific - it has been dealt badly by our club and manager - if he was sold then explain until then he is a blues player ok!
