Pointless to lose both Romelu and Ross in the one Summer, with regard to Short Term Cost Control.
Big decision needed here by the club.

Given that nobody knows 100% why Barkley hasn't signed,could well be out of the clubs hands.

Joey...Rooney was frozen out by Mourhino in the same way that Jose froze out Mata at Chelsea....Mata got some games and played well when Jose got to United, but is peripheral again. Give Rooney enough game time, and its 50/50 to be either brilliant or disappointing...but worth taking that chance, because even spasmodic brilliance from Rooney close to his best would propel us into the top four. The aim this season has to be CL next season...and we have chances to earn CL in various competitions...we need steadiness and flair, and football intelligence as well as hard work and pace.
