So essentially City pay the inflated fee and Spurs and us just recycle it. City pay £50 million for Walker, Spurs pay £50 million for Barkley, we pay £50 million for Sigurdsson. He's overpriced but so is Barkley with a year left on his contract and so is Walker.

At the end of the day, City overpay, Swansea benefit and Spurs and Everton just move the money and players about.

It's the same 50 mil, just getting recycled and its final resting place is Swansea lol

Pretty much this, question is who will buckle first us or Swansea?

More like City pay 50m, Spurs give us 35m and keep 15m, and we give Swansea that 35m plus an extra 5-10m

Still don't really understand why he wants to leave mind (and lets be honest, he does).

Either - he just doesn't like the pressure of playing for Everton
- Can't work with Koeman
- or (most likely). Roberto Mittynez has put the idea in his head that he's world class and should be playing Champions League.

Combination of those, but I can't help thinking he's getting some rubbish advice from his agent! He's not going to get a place in the Spurs team ahead of Alli or Eriksen, and I can't work out who else would be interested?
