I'm expecting a bid from Spurs to come very late in the window.

£25-30m.

Spuds have become experts at getting what they want when they want. So i agree with you. They wont make offer until last day and everton will be under pressure to sell as its an unhappy player and mill down the swanny otherwise. But at last everton have improved at getting players in first this time so credit due to our board, mosh etc.

Still don't really understand why he wants to leave mind (and lets be honest, he does).

Either - he just doesn't like the pressure of playing for Everton
- Can't work with Koeman
- or (most likely). Roberto Mittynez has put the idea in his head that he's world class and should be playing Champions League.

Expect it on deadline day when they think we'll accept anything. Tell them to do one for less than £30 million. Will be a game of bluff.
Yeah, I think it'll be similar to their pursuit of Sissoko last year.

It'll be interesting to see what Everton do, seeing as though Spurs have more than enough depth to hold out until January or even next summer. They won't be desperate.

I think it's a combination of all three...with the Koeman thing being the biggie - reckon Koeman has bounced all over his ego and told him he needs to work to become world class...which he does.
He certainly won't get it any easier at Spurs, if they're even interested

Every week i post the same kind of message, that i really want him to stay - he'll learn a lot from playing with better players. He only had inconsistent Lukaku to aim at, who got pissed off with him every time an impossible pass was not played through to him. He's also had angry fans giving him a hard time - who don't understand why he's not better than Rooney, Scholes, Gerrard and Hazard put together. Yes of course he should have the mental strength and good guidance to handle all of this pressure, but I'd rather believe the idea that he's a late developer! He's gonna learn loads with better players ahead of him, better players pushing him, and we're going to need a big squad if we do better. The way we are buying and developing its' obvious we are planning for european and domestic cup runs, for which we need more than just Sigurdsson, Rooney, Davy K as attacking players.
He needs love from us, pressure and nurturing and patience from management, and needs to be patient himself. If he hasn't made it when he's 26, then he can start thinking of Championship, Scottish Premier or USA!!
Stay Ross dammit

Spurs have agreed a fee with City over Walker. 50M, which the majority would go towards Ross you'd imagine.

he may start the season on the bench given that he's young and new to the league imo, purely because all the other attackers we're seemingly going to buy/have bought are used to the league ... and more experienced. Slowly easing him in to adapt, i wouldn't be surprised if that happens, half way through the season he'll probably be a regular.
I think at this point hes guaranteed to start the season, and thats because while we are hopefully bringing in a #1 striker, hes really the only one we have, and we have europa league games in 2 weeks. We dont have time to get someone else to mesh with the team.
