It's your opinion but, I don't agree with it.
Sometimes, other players have to be held to account, for lack of movement etc.
As Ross is basically the only 'creative' player in the side, it falls on him to provide everything. If it doesn't work out, he gets the blame and not others?

Fair enough...I think Ross is extremely talented but lacks the mental fortitude to be consistent because he relies on confidence. No idea why he lacks self belief, but it's so obvious.

What's so obvious is he lacks self belief...I've always said harsh treatment is a self fulfilling prophecy with players who lack confidence in themselves.

Pissed off loads of sound Blues on this very site trying to make that case.

Ross Barkley is one of the most overrated players in the Premier league. If we swapped him out for someone who is actually effective and who works hard for 90 minutes, like, I don't know, Sigurdsson?

Would we go on about him so much? Of course not. We would all wait for a bad performance from him and then say, £40-£50m we paid for Him.
