I'm not sure where it all went wrong for him, he use to be full of flicks tricks, runs and unleashing shots but it feels like the last couple of seasons he's turned into a square ball crab with no urgency or flair.

His future must be sorted one way or another as soon as possible. I bet this is going to drag on and on. No one is forcing him out except himself.

Barkley has all the skill and tools to be top flight; too bad he doesn't seem to have the football mind to get the best out them.

On a different note. With all the speculation, about his future, swirling around, Barkey himself, hasn't made a peep. After the circus that was Lukaku, it's refreshing and professional.

Whilst I'm happy he isn't bemoaning his lot publicly, I can't help feeling he's being a bit discourteous in apparently not informing the club of his future intentions. You know, before the season starts and while there is a reasonable amount of time left to purchase a replacement if needed. As long as this situation goes on I can't shake the suspicion that he's attempting to run down his contract, which would be a bit snide.
I would prefer him to stay though.

Let's just hope Rooney & a few teammate's can get round Ross. Get him away from the city. Get him sorted with a steady, clean living bird. Help him grow up & focus on reaching his undoubted potential.

Because of the ultimatum that Koeman gave him at the end of the season. Now it's July and still nothing's happened.

Koeman basically transfer listed him after the arsenal game.
