Play Spurs at their own game. If they aren't willing to stump up the dollar whore him out to Newcastle or the ' ammers..even Stoke. Don't tell me they wouldn't love to have him. Really not bothered where he goes now

What that says to me is that they don't want him 'that much', and the major motive for bringing him in is the fact under a ,long term contract of say 4-5 years at Spurs, if they decide to flog him next season they will probably get 45m for him in this crazy market from someone like Palace or West Ham.

So get the squad player for a year, unless he absolutely stinks the gaff out they can make easily 20-25m on the player
