The thing is he's backed himself into a corner. If Spuds tell him to "jog on" he's got two choices - sit in the stands for a year or go to a lower team. What seemed like a bold move from him and his agent is looking more silly by the day.
 

I personally don't for one second believe Barkley is demanding to be paid more than Spurs' club captain and their prized asset, Kane. However if it is true then I can only assume he has the absolute worst agent in history, because he will throw his career down the toilet if it's true and he carries on like this.

got to the point with the lad now, that i am honestly not arsed what he does, he is at 24 still talked about as potential this and potential that, at a certain point in time potential becomes unfulfilled potential, same as Walcott, Wiltshere and numerous other next big things.

The lads got all the ability in the world, and maybe if he stays and smartens up he could fulfil some of what we though possible, IF he leaves though i will almost guarantee he will go down as another busted English flush like many before.
