I'll be honest, he frustrated me at times tonight. He's arguably the player in the team who gets the most time on the ball yet he spends most of it trying to think about what to do next with it and completely slows everything down. Undoubtedly has superb technical ability, he just needs a sharper brain imo.

I honestly don't get comments like this. He's probably our most talented player since Rooney and he's a local blue from our academy. Why's he the subject of so much nitpicking and criticism?

Lukaku and Barry have been superb all season, but both went missing at the Etihad for me.

You can probably add Besic to my original post though tbf, he's been so plagued with injuries sometimes I forget that we have him.

Anyone questioning that doesn't know anything about football. Frustrating with some decision not to shoot at times but he was magnificent on the whole.

Does things other players (and very good ones at that) can only dream of with ease. Some of his runs and passes tonight were sublime.
