Superb work by @Charlie Sweet in here.

He's got so many biting.

Chaz, whats your honest opinion of Barkley? No fishing.

If you'd see me at the game you'd see me supporting him as much as anyone else. I think he's great but not brilliant. And I question whether he will fulfill his potential. I'd love to be wrong on that.

Thats all fair enough.

One thing though, i think its harsh to say he cant string 2 sentences together....we dont know what hes like in the dressing room.

As an aside, what type of captain would you like after Jags, and who would you choose?

I'd say someone like McCarthy as our next captain would be a strong shout.

It's fantastic to see Ross fullfilling his remarkable potential when some people forgot how young he was and were getting frustrated with him last year.He is now playing at a very high standard consistently and still has more in the locker.imagine what he will be like in 5yrs time still playing for Everton.?something special to look forward to.

As just posted in the Lukaku thread. Barkley should have taken the penalty today. Perhaps he argued the case beforehand we will never know but I'm disappointed he didn't get the chance today at home.

I didn't know we played home games at the Britannia. As for your point, Romelu hit them well last year, didn't miss one, stepped up and slotted again today, and is a centre forward. I don't see why you'd have any issue with our goalscorer wanting pens. I'd be fuming if he wasn't wanting to hit them.

Sorry mis type. I meant on the spin.

Thats just crazy talk. He's played about 3 games and just plays for himself. You want to give it to someone who will take pride in it and give them another 10-20% like McCarthy or Barkley
Misquote much? The full sentence was:"The obvious choices are Coleman, McCarthy and Mirallas."

I then went on with a couple more paragraphs explaining why those THREE were the only real candidates, and conceding that Mirallas had the least chance of the three. But you ignored all those long words apparently.

How long have you worked for the Sun?

That's fine as one is a fantastic player who is intrinsic to our ability to win premier league games but is scared of a football & the other will boss champions league finals in years to come
