Messi was not as explosive as he can be but he ran the show for Argentina. Always on the ball and always pushing things along. It all goes through him. He is being damned for not scoring one of his usual dribbling masterpieces at a big tournament. You can play very well without scoring you know?

Player of the tournament? Don´t care. Same as World Player of the Year. It´s voted for. All opinion. Its enough to say he was easily one of the best players at that tournament.

At this point stating Messi doesn´t perform on the international stage is basically admitting you are just repeating what you have read somewhere. Sorry, but thats just how it is.

Hopefully Ross can show half of that ability at the Euros whilst losing all the games

Even more on topic I hope to see more of this risk taking on Saturday that the manager has said he needs to do. A packed defence by West Brom and it would be good to see Ross let fly a good few times.
