He did switch the play well, his passing range has improved so much over the years. In 13/14 half those balls would have been bouncing off some four year old in row C

But his passing around the box still leaves a lot to be desired for me, I give him a bit of a lay off for the fact that west brom defended so well, but as the main source of creativity and tempo in the side he was too hesitant in possession and it killed our rhythm in the final third

Think he tried some different things in the second half, tried to run behind them a bit more but then his finishing let him down. Rom not being able to get out from his markers really stifled his forward passing options unfortunately.

Just a bloody frustrating game all round really

All too true legs, one of those games that turns the hair gray

Rom and Ross do thrive off each other, and while they might be as dynamic a duo as we've seen in a long while, their tender age can betray them when the other isn't at the races. Ross look starved of options on the ball, and it was a reflection of the afternoon as a whole

Don't think he is intended to be tbh, always got the impression that he'd move a bit further back once he had worked on the defensive part of his game. He's generally played well there this season though, created a lot of chances.

Totally agree, he's no better than Shelvey. Completely over hyped.

Yea certainly most improved player anyway. He's been a pleasure to watch at times this season. Still don't see Roy having confidence in him above the conservative choices like henderson and milner.

Yea as an irishman I've absolutely no affinity towards them either but definitely enjoy seeing ross and stones play for them, and would love to see Ross show his class in France. My guess is Roy will only ever pick one of ross and alli, and will then drop whoever he first picks at the first slight error and wreck their confidence, then do exactly the same with the other, and neither will be seen again.
