OOH i see says the buyer - no thank you, i would not even take match winners like that at half that price in my club.

Then please explain to me how we can have the same number of goals as a poor, toothless WBA who's whole squad is not worth 50 mil and have only conceded 3 less goals than us ?
All these super players including 3 England defenders and Coleman with Lukaku and "the best English attacking midfielder" behind him can't do better than WBA ? and they have won 1 game less than Crystal Palace and only 1 more than little Bournemouth with a squad worth less than 20 mil?
Please do not insult my logic or thinking - just give me logic answers for this very very average performance by the" best squad Everton has ever had".
Is Everton a super squad playing terribly or are we not as great as we think?
I have not criticized Lukaku because he has delivered. I query the delivery of the other stars in the team - who is not delivering?

If your post can be boiled down to the question in bold, then I think you have to take into account the fact that Lukaku, Deulofeu, Stones and Barkley are still relatively young and could do with a bit more experience. We are very good, but we need to be a bit more polished as opposed to rough diamonds. We're good but not the finished article.

I can explain that, we have scored 46 and WBA 24. The rest of the batshit post I ain't goin near.

I'm not entirely certain Ross' range of passing is ideal for a no.10. He's more Rooney than Silva.

MoutsGoat can you debate or do you thrive on insulting the messenger ? my logic , my thinking , my mental health all stuffed - but no counter argument from the psychiatrist to my statement/question - just putting the price tag of 150 mil on our 3 match winning stars.
I expected much much more from you.
You clearly understand the question(or at least i hope so) but never get to anything resembling an argument to the simple question why these match winners don't seem to win the number of matches they should - at that price.
What part the story don't you understand? Maybe i can put it even simpler - although i doubt it.

If your post can be boiled down to the question in bold, then I think you have to take into account the fact that Lukaku, Deulofeu, Stones and Barkley are still relatively young and could do with a bit more experience. I have insulted nobody but have been skinned alive as we say in Africa because i dared to have an opinion which certain people did not like.
In the end the 2 of us seem to agree - we have more potential than ability at this stage and therefore we should lower our expectations of our young side and in doing so take off a lot of pressure from the team, Martinez and ourselves.
Read my posts again - and that is what i was trying to say in a very clumsy way - this great squad is far from the finished product which can constantly be in the top 5.
The expectations fans put on players like Barkley and Stones by labeling them as 50mil players might just be the pressure that destroys those talented youngsters - or giving them inflated egos.Let us rather treat them as talented youngsters and not as world stars which they certainly are not YET- but might become one day.Whether they will live up to their potential is a different kettle of fish and is still open for debate though
