I would say he's more Silva than Rooney. He's more of a short passer, can't remember many occasion he's played a 20/30/40 yard pass to the wing.

For me one his better passes is switching play. Driving us forward, pulling defenders out of position and shooting in and around the box are where his strengths lie. Playing that final killer pass, through a defence splitting ball, isn't often him. That said we're a powerful side and he suits us better that way.
