Fair point but he should be the starting point. Him & Alli are not similar players in my opinion Alli really isn't that comfortable in possession whilst under pressure it's not Gerard & lampard i believe they will almost certainly be able to play together.

Ross Barkley is a boss player, he has really improved this season.
The thing I like about him the most is it doesn't matter if the team is playing badly or in fact if he is playing badly, he is always looking for the ball, always wants to try and do something, that is a great attribute to have.
