Na ...hard to admit Coutinho is class . Ross just ghosts around the pitch because Martinez lets him.
Needs a torpedo up his arse. And to think Martinez pulled out of a deal to sign sign Payet to let Ross progress in that position.
pure conjecture on the last point, coutinho is a decent player but did nothing till we were down to ten, he's two years further into his development than ross, and all things being considered their seasons have not been that different, just right now their form is different, and given ross is playing i the most poisonous atmosphere in the prem, I personally would like to wait and see with him. On the ghosting point, utter chobb chatted by ignorant british football fans, his ground covered stats more than match up, we heard the same bull about fellaini, anyone with a laconic running style gets that accusation from our dinosaur fanbase

Have a read of my posts about Ross for the last few years , ive followed him since he was 14 .He will be a top player one day , under this manager i think not.
He really is a passenger in most games nowadays , needs a firm hand and guidance otherwise he'll be another kid that could have been.

Think your being a bit harsh on the fanbase too mate...most knowledgable & appreciative around.

no problem saying that, laugh at form all you want, i'm a little bit more long term and consistent, but you continue to believe what the media tells you, about someone who has eriksson to do all the complected stuff
Alli is a key element of a team pushing hard for the title, and he's just turned 20 years old. Unlike Barkley, he's capable of picking a pass out of a police lineup, and doesn't go weeks on end without offering much more than the occasional Gazza run. He's also not petrified of tackling.

Arguing that it's not fair because Alli has good players around him doesn't really hold up when you consider the fact Barkley is apparently playing alongside the best striker in the world.

barkley knows how to put his head down and dribble, but he is still all but incapable of passing when it matters. if lukaku conservatively had a goal added even one of ten times when he is in position to score (and screaming and beckoning) after barkley storms forward, only for barkley to put his head down and smash it into the first defender, then lukaku would have the scoring title by at least 15. barkley should be forced to watch, strapped down clockwork orange style, all the opportunities where lukaku has been completely unmarked screaming at him to pass, only for him not to notice, or to hoof it regardless. he undeniably has talent, but hasn't really progressed this year, and at this point only really knows how to put his head down and run in a straight line.

i'm sure this has all been addressed in some detail before, no doubt more articulately.

I accept that louis, I stand by Ross, it's important we do, his talent is huge, way above that of alli, or any other runabout english cm, no one is playing well in our squad, no one at all, doesn't mean we don;t have good players who could become great

how many assists then, whats his pass completion in comparison to Ross, just keep reading the daily mail man

I love Ross but for the second goal he moved maybe 4ft walking the whole time in the box. He REALLY needs to up the defensive side of the game.

Honestly, I don't even really blame him. He's had a manager who basically has said, repeatedly, he's the best in the world and doesn't need to do those things. What a different manager shoudl say is 'he CAN be one of the best in the world but he needs to dedicate himself in all areas'.
