Maybe so for the first half of the season but his efforts over the last 3 months have been very poor. Lucky to be there at all, along with 1/2 others.

Ross isn't lucky to be in the Englabd squad at all. It's a terrible squad low on quality with very little competition outside of the players already there. England are lucky to have Barkley not the other way round.

As you say mate it's a terrible squad hence why he is selected, last 3 months form and in a decent squad he wouldn't be near it. Top player on his day but in big games often disappears

You've literally described the entire England squad there. Ross Barkley is one of England's top midfielders end of.

How come we can see it though: As soon as Wilshere came on he proved that none of our forwards are capable of understanding the offside law. If Barkley had have come on instead of Wilshere, then he would have exposed the same front three.
We have just drew with one of the poorer teams tonight, we must now start with our first team after the Welsh game.
