Cannot believe the hate Ross gets even from his own fans. It's as though if the lad is not lighting up the prem every week that he's rubbish and doesn't deserve a place in one of the worst international squads in football. What does Alli do every week to keep getting picked? Ditto Wilshere. Agree with Carrick and Barry, Drinkwater and Dier are in and probably Wilshire is better but unreliable.

Henderson is a proven failure at international level. Ross should be in the squad no two ways about it. More than good enough.

I agree about Alli though. That lad is way more inconsistent than Ross even.

Thought big Sam might have shaken things up a bit, but his first squad has followed the same London centric sky six based media friendly theme as most of his predecessors. The result will be exactly the same.

Maybe that's exactly what fat Sam wants. He's already playing better for us now he's got something to prove and for England who cares if he's good in these nothing games. It's the tournament that matters.
