I don't have any problem with him not playing with the crapfest that is England, I'm only worried about his confidence, as things like this seem to affect him.

Yeah same. Juts remember last season when we were playing utter crap and the boos were on in full force and he thought people were booing him.

Oh dear.

Best thing for him. He will get better and better in the eyes of the media and English fans the more he doesn't play and ultimately it doesn't matter how much he plays now but rather just the 6 months before the tournament.

And it will give him a nice rest in during the season.

Dele Ali is the poster boy but his performances have dropped significantly now the pressure and spotlight are on him. All Ross needs to do is bide his time and keep working.
