Ross Barkley

It's embarrassing that any grown man who watches football could think that Henderson llanna drinkwater Rooney are anywhere near close to Barkley

With this decision Fat Sam has put a massive marker right on his back ready to be shot at. The press will have a field day if we lose against Slovakia...it'll be feeding time at the zoo...

His lantern jaws will have the Wrigleys working overtime in the 65th minute when he wants to inject some initiative and creativity from the usual turgid Lallana/Henderson stodge and realises theres no Barkley. Makes Gerrard's " Big Sams ahead of his time" brown-nosing even more nauseous.

He's hardly been setting the league alight has he, in recent times? No problem with him not being selected, and it benefits us anyway. Hopefully he can get some form soon and force his way back in.
Lol yeah and Michael Antonio has been a superstar.

I don't have any problem with him not playing with the crapfest that is England, I'm only worried about his confidence, as things like this seem to affect him.

Ross is average at best presently. Correct decision.
As much as it pains me to say it,I don't think Barkley will achieve anything,he's had long enough now, yesterday,as I have seen on numerous occasions, when he losses the ball or misplaces a pass, you can see his confidence drain away, gradually,to a point that all is left,is a nervous player who keeps losing the ball and misplacing passes,I hope I'm wrong, but I honestly can't see him succeeding, not mentally strong enough.

Kopite just texted me said "don't know what all the fuss is about, Barkley has been average for the last 6 months" To which I replied "Henderson has been average for his whole career and still gets picked". Watch the press now state Barkley needs to move for the sake of his England career.
