I don't really care if Barkley plays for England or not. I'm very apathetic about the whole England set up. I do however want Barkley to reach the top of his game and if that means playing for England then so be it.

If this was last season I would have been worried this may affect his confidence. He's started the season well though and Koeman is (I think) the perfect manager to get the best out of him. 2 weeks with him whilst half the squad are away on International duty may turn out to be a good thing. He'll be fresh for when everyone else comes back and will hopefully smash the opposition.

to be fair to Ronald he does text me quite a lot about tactics due to me having an NVQ level 2 in football coaching.
