I will always back anyone in an Everton shirt but it's important to be honest sometimes and just admit that Ross was garbage tonight. We won and we got away with it though.

i dont actually think he was too bad, he did some good things but switched off for their goal and hes got to finish that chance in the first half, i think he will be right on it next sunday

As some have posted not as infuential as of late tonight.But you could see the respect the opposition are giving him.
Great to see him standing up to it , even after his miss kept his head up and always looking forward...great to see.

Should've scored that chance in the first half but he had another good game although he was at fault for their 2nd goal.

I wish he'd close players down a bit though. McCarthy chases non stop and Ross just ambles about

maybe he's instructed not too so he has legs for a counter attack?

He was not great, but far from poor. His switch of play to Gerry is superb, and created our first goal.

He takes responsibility, and always wants the ball. And in the first half, had 3 men on him instantly.

I didn't see the whole game but going off the 20 minute highlights he was still fairly effective.

Lots of good switching of play, one of which lead to the first goal and some decent probing play around the edge of the box.

If that is the new "back to his worst" I'll take that as a base level!
