Koeman is a fool for messing this up so bad.

I always put what's best for the club first, and I think Steve Walsh & Farhad Moshiri have the clubs best interest at heart; however, Koeman is not the right fit in this. I hope we perform well under him and he leaves as soon as possible. The way he has handled this whole Ross situation has left me very sour on his abilities as a manger.
Don't agree with this, enough of our other players have gotten on with Koeman well enough, he's also been involved in developing Davies, and seems to be looking at bringing other youngsters through. It's either bad advice on Ross's part, or he just doesn't have the mentality to cope at a higher level.

Badly advised as well, clearly.

But, he may well move to Spurs and win the league, and his decision would be justified.

I'll miss him, but good riddance now. Barring nobody coming back in with an offer we'll get a good fee that we know is going to be reinvested one way or the other.

Koeman confirming we're after three more players is enough for me.

We all really knew this was coming, but the fact that Ross definitely sees his future elsewhere is still a shame.

He will flop massively at Spurs mate, he thinks Koeman worked him too hard - he won't survive under Pocch 100%

Spurs also won't win anything - and soon as the manager leaves will drop back to the place they've been before he arrived.

Brain-dead move by the lad, but oh well, his most notable contribution to the club will go down as being the lad who by getting sparked out got the club to act and finally ban the s*n.

Koeman has it spot on. Called Ross out for not performing to the required level. That kick made Ross perform better so the manager did his job well. Ross probably didn't like being called out and is in a sulk and thinks he can do it elsewhere. Ross has shat on the club. Everton made him the player he is so if he signed a contract for say 2 years but still said he wants to leave but you can get money for me then I would think more highly of him. I find this treacherous.

@davek was right all along about this.

He wants to leave. He's told the manager he wants to leave. He's been professional and not kicked off about it. Fair enough. We'll all move on.

Oh please.

Still leave for free next summer.

and if he does go that route, see what his contract offers and list of suitors will be like after sitting not playing footy for a year - cos make no mistake there is no chance in hell Koeman will play him next season.

As it stands right now, no-one really wants him that much to make a serious offer, what's the list gonna be like in 12 months time

Well, he's offered more than that.

That first season was a thing to behold. For all Martinez's faults he gave the lad the freedom to express himself and some of the things he did were superb.

Not hit the heights - though has shown glimpses of it - since, though I do think the last five months of this season he was on the whole excellent.

We'll be swapping him for a currently better player in Gylfi, though, and with Klaassen, Davies, Sandro, Lookman etc we've really got a new-look Everton core.

Yes, two years ago we all thought the 'fab four' would be taking us places. But in the end, it never materialised and I haven't and won't be massively concerned by seeing any of them go. They've brought us no success, and Koeman is in my mind the best manager currently in the league when it comes to overhauling a squad and getting results at the same time.
