Why would anyone pay over £100k a week to an injured player whose value diminishes the closer the closing of the window gets.

He will be fully aware of each & every club that are planning on bidding he has apparently turned down £115k a week that's £23.9 million For a 4 year deal.

Now I know some people say he isn't the brightest but it's fantasy land for anyone who believes he isn't completely aware of the moves available to him & the wages on offer.

Doesn't have to be clever mate, though I'll bet his agent is, but one thing is for sure he definitely isn't the Evertonian people make out.

There is nothing available to him for twelve months unless a club satisfies Evertons demand. He is in the exact situation that Michael Keane was and Burnley got their money because Everton knew that if they didn't pay they would not get the player.

After going to the Sevilla game I think we should pay him what he wants
You've got this a bit confused mate. It's not about money, the lad wants out of the club full stop. The only way money will play a part in Ross leaving or staying is if nobody is prepared to pay enough for him.

We said that about Rooney!
Then welcomed him back - Ross is going let's move on - Sig at 50 million is a waste imo!

Rooney plays for us now so we support him. But it is not the same as when he broke through as the most exciting player in the country.

He needs to do an awful lot in the next 2 seasons to redeem himself in my eyes. I hope he is up to it.

He's had no preseason training and - if he did get a deal at a top team - he'll be on the bench. His only hope to get into the England team in time is to sign for a lesser team. Like Newcastle *taps nose *

Very true.

And if he does decide to stay, like Rooney he has a hell of a lot of fans to win back.

They get the adulation because they are living out the dream we all have. Fan on the pitch. The moment they think the grass is greener elsewhere that vision dies. Thats why Rooney simply has to rip up trees here. We need success.
