I still think we should offer Ross a bumper contract and then say we'll loan him out for a year, to Newcastle or some such club, so that he gets a year away from Koeman

Either Koeman will be gone in a year or a year away will give things a chance to detoxify and the two can start afresh going forward for the 18/19 season

We did offer Ross a bumper contract, but he refused to sign it, its got nothing to do with Koeman, besides he if cant get on with him is he really going to get on with another top manager? Rather just sell him to Newcastle

Good point they stayed on too long awarded for loyalty I suppose they never found another club did they, but contracts extended in latter years as now with older players!
You can't compare those two with Capt Labby!

Any footballer who believes in loyalty is a mug. We'll turn on any player in a heartbeat

We'll only ever get loyalty from players when we're prepared to show it to them in-turn

Massive shame, but ultimately we get the sport and club we deserve

Last season he, Davies Coleman before injury, Lukaku were our best consistent players who we relied on if yoiu look at our squad now eventually minus Ross , and Lukaku - not yet replaced you are kidding yourselves!
