Come on children this is like my toy is bigger than your toy - we have not won the Prem -nor have the other lot - moneywise we are way behind the City's Unts etc - catching up a bit - so lets stay on subject i.e. Ross Barkley will he stay or will he go , and if he goes how much for and who too?
He will go
35 m minimum
City or Chelsea
Levy won't pay up and we won't sell him cheap.

This really puts the cat amongst the pigeons.
Clubs will probably now want a loan with an option to buy at a much lower price, I doubt Everton will agree.

This could change things completely for him.
He can't leave and won't stay.
Shouldn't effect his departure too much. Let's face it united still signed Rooney back in 2004 after he had broke his metatarsal at the euros. A hamstring isn't like a cartilage or cruciate injury that could affect the players' along term fitness. Even if it's a bad hamstring injury, the max he should be out for is probably 6 weeks.

Undoubtedly by some if he stays.

He's ran down his contract with us with the intention of getting off at a time when we're looking to move forward and were counting on him being a part of that.

Evertonians also have long memories and I remember this particular interview from after signing his last contract 3 years ago: http://www.liverpoolecho.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/ross-barkley-says-memory-wayne-7530137

“I knew what it meant to me when Rooney left because he was one of the better players at the time,” said Barkley.

“We thought Everton could’ve pushed on at the time but when he left we were all down.

“I know how the fans felt and I just wanted to sign and push on for Everton.”

“We’ve got keep good players at the club which we have with Bainesy (Leighton Baines) signing his new contract last year and Seamus (Coleman) and a few others signing new contracts.

“It shows we want to push on and not stand still.”
The word hypocrite springs to mind when reading that.
