I think he's definitely that manager that will hold a grudge. He made him look like a tit
I think he's more pragmatic than that tbh mate. Plus I don't think that Koeman will consider himself in that way (being made a tit of) even if that's what the rest of us think. I've always found that strong personalities tend to be a bit narcissistic. He'll think every decision he makes is the correct one, even if that appears to be doing a u turn on a previous decision.

If Barkley has the right attitude and is showing it in training, I can definitely see Koeman playing him in certain games.

How do you think it'll effect a player though? If Klassen gets dropped for Barkley, who doesn't want to play for us (stated by not signing as per Koeman's message), would you be a bit peeved?

Not sure to be honest mate. His head is bound to be all over the place at the moment getting this injury during the transfer window, and we know he isn't the strongest mentally.

I'm hoping his desire to play for England will be a driver for him this season, especially with a WC coming up. Barkley will want to be part of that I'm sure.

As for Klaassen, I think it's a problem we're going to have with quite a few players. I just think they'll have to get their head round squad rotation. Personally, I wouldn't start Klaassen during the next 4 matches anyway as I think we'll be playing on the counter, and that won't suit his game at all.

..not sure I remember that. Michael Owen suffered badly.
Aye and so did Rodwell, both not the same player since really.
As I said earlier, the hamstring is such a crucial muscle for a footy player given its role as a decelerator in running.
With footy all about quick changes of pace and direction, a serious injury with a muscle tear (as a grade 3 is) can be problematic, particularly given scar tissue forms, and the integrity of the muscle is not what it was. Unfortunately with this tear comes an increased propensity for re-injury.
