6 months ago i would never have believed ross would leave everton not to mind ask to leave and above all leave on a free. Yet this could now happen. A very strange set of circumstances. Is he actually injured or has his agent told him to pull 1 as there has been no offers he had been promised abd now his best bet would earn a nice package on a free transfer? If so lost all respect for the so called blue and he will have a very hard season here from fans.
 

Offer him a 2 year deal. Or a contract with a realisable release fee. Everton could keep him with some imagination. If he had any inclination to stay that is.

But I guess he just wants to go. Give it time and the truth of why will out, I'm sure.

Maybe he just hates working for his current boss? I've had a job like that and couldn't wait to leave. It happens in life.

So if he sees out every contract he's signed he's a Judas, but if Everton sell him while he has a contract they are better.

The last 2 players who give their whole career at Everton are constantly ridiculed by Everton fans. I don't see why it should be a 'given' that players want to be here forever.
 

People lamenting his possibly leaving Everton are simply not understanding reality. The top teams in England and Europe know he isn't good enough, and so does Koeman. These clubs are not idiots, they have data on him. They have data on everyone playing in professional leagues in Europe. They've been given an open invitation to come and buy him but have not taken that offer up. What does that tell you all? What is the conclusion that can be reasonably drawn from their lack of action?
All this talk of 'tracking', 'monitoring', 'watching' is utter tripe. The most successful clubs decide who they want and get them. They don't want him. Why?

But im not on about that. Im on about the possibility of him and his agent hatching a plan of a "injury" as no offer has come in. He will earn a big pay packet and surely understands this. I have no problem if he doesnt get on with koeman.

Koeman probably would as well.

But it seems the lad either thinks he is better than what he is, or has got to get out of Dodge due to upsetting mafioso or just doesn't like Koeman.

All a bit weird, maybe he is just baggage we don't need as a professional organisation.
