So if he sees out every contract he's signed he's a Judas, but if Everton sell him while he has a contract they are better.

The last 2 players who give their whole career at Everton are constantly ridiculed by Everton fans. I don't see why it should be a 'given' that players want to be here forever.
Boyhood Blue offered 100 grand a week just to turn out for his beloved club a maximum of twice a week. About to embark on our biggest adventure in our history under new stewardship and with a world class stadium on the horizon and 30-million pound players brought in left right and centre. Yet he wants a new challenge does he? Could understand if we were flirting with relegation a la the 90s every other season (maybe, but actually the fact he's going backwards with his development and three managers haven't been able to get the best out of him speaks volumes really), but we're THE club on the up in the UK and he must be thick to want out.

It may give him time to think straight and rooney time to advise him hope he stays to fight for his place when fit and sign his contract or any contract -so we dont lose out!

..I think much will depend on the amount of game time he gets, Joey. A player refusing to commit himself to the club is hardly likely to get into a side ahead of Rooney, Sigurdsson, Klaassen, Davies et al.

A carefully written statement put out by Ross and his representatives even at this late stage could go a long way to smoothing the water with Blues supporters. The silence has been deafening from Ross and we have only ever heard Ron's thoughts on the matter which has been far from inspiring.

Ross has been badly advised and let down by his agent here and it is looking increasingly like it is going pear shaped, it has certainly caused embarrassment to the club.

and to him also, he has made himself a bit of a mockery figure.

I don't know if there's anything in the story that he's been threatened by crime heavies, like the ones that
Gerrard was supposedly 'involved' with, but we need to cut him some slack if he has been. Not that we'd know if there is, but I'm just saying.

Personally, even though he hasn't really reached the potential that was spouted, I still think that he's a very talented player and I'd be sorry to see him leave, especially as he's a Blue scouse.

Ye but if Ross turns around and says but you put in a transfer request and won the lot. I'd imagine Rooney's advice would devolve to 'erm...erm..erm'.
Rooney just needs to point out he was wanted by one of the best teams in Europe at the tiime who were willing to spend big. Ross sadly is not wanted by anyone it seems.

Judging by RK presser he still expects him to go during this window. He said RB not in his plans and will await the end of Aug.

All I will say is this, if Spurs are still prepared to buy him knowing he'll be injured until September, then Poch must REALLY rate him, which probably means Ross is going to get plenty of chances there

The fact they've gone until now without making a bid or even an enquiry tells me they don't actually rate him that much at all.
