Ross is gone, face reality. Once he has recovered from his "injury" he will sign for a "top club" to start a "new challenge" and get away from the "gangsters" who "told him to get out of Liverpool".
It isn't reality when he's still on our books though is it?
Face it mate, you're chatting wham and you can't predict what will happen in an hours time let alone in 3 months time.

Just one reason why I can't stand the fella. Are players just allowed to have anything on their shirts nowadays? Chicharito, Dele ffs! Maybe if we wheel out Niasse with 'Oumar' on the back of his shirt he'll perform better.

Not just that, but he's actually getting referred to as "Dele" in conversation and things like official club tweets and Premier League articles. No, he's English and his name is Bamidele Alli. You wouldn't go round calling John Stones "John" like it's his surname would you. Imagine the Sky Sports vidiprinter or BBC live text reading "Man City 1 Burnley 0 (John, 23)"

I don't think he has Dele's movement to play that role, Dele is constantly on the move making angles and getting in the box if anything Dembele is the nearest 'type of' player to Barkley they both are better on the ball than off it.

I agree Dele has better movement around the box but Barkley has the a more imposing physique. It could work I think.

That's the thing about Ross, he can play in so many different positions.

Dele is what the Spurs fans I was with were calling him yesterday and what he has on his shirt. I have no issue with calling him that.

We call our own players by their first names in conversation as well, it's normal. I wouldn't start calling other teams' players that though, like saying "Raheem" or "Dele".

It's what he wants to be called though; he's said publicly he doesn't feel any attachment to the name Alli because the Alli family gave him up when he was a kid. Personally I don't mind him being referred to as Dele if that's what he wants. No skin off my nose.

If they had it on the back of their shirt then fine. I'm sure he has his reasons.
