I couldn't disagree more mate, undoubted ability, one of the most naturally talented players of his day, that I dont deny. But you mention his top 20 goals collection, that is the only thing he has to his name. 12 years of premier league football, playing in a team set up around him. amounts to a great you tube collection.

No... he kept saints in the league and has God like status around Southampton... he could have moved to Blackburn for 20m and won the league but chose to stay... he's a saints fan and was the loyal to them... like totti.. and unlike Rooney and ross... he was a very rare breed of footballer.. very gifted and also loyal and I have met him a few times and he is as down to earth as you can get and loves chatting with "normal" people... he even went to play for Eastleigh because one of his ex team mates was manager and they sold out every week because of it..

He was also doing these sort of things on a regular basis at barkleys age... And he used to do it in big games ... scored many goals against Man U, RS, Newcastle (when they were the second best team in the league) , blackburn when they were champions Etc ...

Ross will never score 30 league goals ...

Le tissier was like siggy in the way that he was keeping a team in the league... no siggy has been bought for 45m... scored 9 goals and 13 assists? So he didn't even score a 3rd of the amount of goals tissier did... le tissier would be worth over 100m today if countinho is 118m Barkley hasn't even been bid for yet!

And your aurgument that the team was set up around le tissier... of corse it was... he was one of the most talented flair players in prem history.. and Berkeley basically had RM team set up around him and he didn't do anything compared to le tissier..

He doesn't at all, but because someone flashed some misleading graphic on the board apparently he does. He's not close to the same level as Ross. And Ross, just because he's English, and has talent, would probably go for close to that if he wasn't less than a year away from his contract expiring.
Stats Ross goals were not free kicks Poseidon and pass wise and assist not much between them - Ross is going I accept that hard to get a good price for him now with a torn hammy!

Again, I hope he stay. But what will do Mr Koeman with balerina Klassen in that case?

Ross is gone, face reality. Once he has recovered from his "injury" he will sign for a "top club" to start a "new challenge" and get away from the "gangsters" who "told him to get out of Liverpool".
