Because, as I have said many times, NONE of us know what has happened, there is clearly a reason why he feels he has to leave HIS club. True to our fans usual hate first, think later attitude, none of you have thought about what could drive a player/fan to do this, and, before you say it, it is not money, I think the truth will come out and you will all look like tits.

BTW will you all still hate Rooney tomoz (as everyone did last weekend) or have we now decided he is OK again? What about Niasse? Kev? We really should consider getting behind our players a bit more. no?

Nah I only want Ross out. Be arsed with homegrown scouse players doing the club over to go on a free.

Only everton player I truly thoroughly disliked was Cleverley. Osman was a GRASS too.

I just cant fathom how he thinks leaving the club he supports,Especially at this moment in time is a good move.

Regardless of agent,His Koeman relationship or financially.

Bizarre really.

What does it matter?
Apparently, we're rich and gonna be even richer when Usmanov jumps ship!

What a bunch of whoppers. Super-fanning it up with the usual player hatred, remember to boo Davy tomoz too, he's clearly not good enough.
Oh, if Kev gets on, let him know your ill informed opinion too.
*you're

Only joking. I hate this scenario with Ross not him, there's clear suggestions that this isn't all on him and that his agent may be leading him astray or badly advising him.

Also, I've said numerous times that we shouldn't be rewriting history as it does a disservice to Barkley and Koeman. All in all, he had a good season last time out, but importantly from Early December to mid April I thought it was the best and most consistent I'd seen Barkley play for Everton. So no matter their differences Koeman got something out of Barkley and in turn Barkley responded to Koemans management.

I'm desperate for him to stay, but if it makes me a super fan that I think this Spurs deal stinks tgennso be it. My absolute number one concern is what's best for Everton.

Is right, the back stabbing tit, fancy him not joining a team that it looks like he didn't really want to join, just so we would have got good dosh for him.

This is nonsense. Why would you put Barkley ahead of the club, the same Barkley who Everton were so desperate to keep they offered him £5m+ per year. The fans and club have a right to be angry.

Does our poor little injures snowflake have to turn up on match day at Goodison if he is capable of doing so whilst injured?

I would think it in the club's best interest to tell him to stay at home. On the other hand it'd be interesting to see the crowd's reaction if he did.

Make him come. Dint guve him the high and lordy seats. Put him down with us in gt4. We will make him suffer...sorry feel right at home

Despite speculation we don't know much about Ross' contract but we can assume that:

1) He doesn't like Koeman
2) He doesn't see himself being a first team starter under him.

Now if he doesn't like the manager that's fine but he will soon find out that all managers will challenge him further and his mentality then comes into play on how his career path starts.

If he doesn't think his ability is enough to convince Koeman, he should be starting every week then he doesn't know his manager well enough.

Koeman last season had a Ross Barkley question every presser, he defended him and publicly asked more from him because he knows he is a good player but unless he is pushed he will not be any better then a good player.

We have talked about Ross' potential for years and he is 23 now, right now he is in my opinion, Osman-level.

Not being a snake or having a go but that's what Osman was, he was good enough for us and at time a tad better but no one wanted him.

Barkley is Everton level and if/when he moves, he has to work harder then he has ever done because he has cruised on his diamond status since Martinez dry-bummed him.

At Everton, we are transitioning into a strong squad of players who know they have to climb to the next step as a club. We have spent more money but lost a key aspect, it will be hard but if Barkley cannot see himself pushing out a 31 year old Rooney or Dutch international who hasn't played Premiership football then how will his mentality get him past a 30-odd Fabregas.

It's Ross' decisions not Koeman, Everton or his Agent but Barkley who decides his career sadly it's is pointing towards the Delph's, O'Hara's, Parker's.

He isn't all that because he doesn't want to be.

*then so

Only joking! I am glad to see one of his detractors admitting he was class under Koemi last season, most seem to just say he is sh1t which is a ridiculous statement to anyone with any footballing brain.

Will he get one last chance?? Does he deserve one? Yes and yes imo.

I don't see this being the issue. Was always a started under RK and will be aware with 55 + games ahead, he will get most games. As I have said, there is another reason for him wanting out imo.

Enlighten us all, what is this "other" reason?
