Why, clubs can tap players up in line for when their contracts expire, no?

If gangsters are "running him out of town" do you think he's had a word with them and said "Just give me till January"?
From what I've read, the gangsters (one of whom's moll, Rosscoe goosed), gave him til the window's slamming shut to 'get outta town'. Have they extended their deadline to accommodate his gammy hammy? Possibly, but it all sounds a little Ally Frazier-like. I suggest Rosscoe's best option now, is to head to Dusseldorf and get a brickie's job on some work-site...

Is right Pet.

Lad that climbing scaffolding is a risky game.

I think he needs to go and "find himself"...in Nepal or somewhere.

Where does this " dogs abuse " thing come from, Barkley is very popular amongst our fans, or he was. He has his own song, yes there are groans from the crowd if he loses the ball. Every player is the same, it's not all sweetness and bliss, I have never heard Barkley roundly booed, so where does dogs abuse come from ? Looks like Ross is a bit thin skinned, God help him then when he gets to Spurs. It's obvious to most Evertonians he wants out, want CL football, that's probably the main reason he wants out and for his new challenge. Tapped up, again probably at the England get togethers by the young Spurs players, everyone knows it goes on. He will probably start playing for England again at some point after signing for Spurs / Chelsea, that's another factor.
What a lot of Evertonians don't like is the way the contract has been run down, costing us money and making more for Ross.

You are right in one sense, none of us know what's really gone on.

What we do know is, the longer this drags on, the better off Barkley is in the pocket. At the expense of Everton.

Just one more question, what is this "Koemi" thing you have going on all about?

Ronki

I'll post some of them below this. It went on for months and he often singled Barkley out. To me it was poor management and if he had to say it then it should have been said behind closed doors. I think at the end of the day he doesn't want to play for Koeman.

"He did not play last weekend and that is the competition we have in the squad,'' Koeman said. "If you like to play you need to show that to the manager during the whole week and he is trying to do his best.

"We know he is one of the players who needs to bring more productivity and that is the talk we had about his situation. Sometimes it can be a tactical reason, sometimes I expect more from Ross Barkley but I expect more from other players offensively.

"He needs to accept it. He needs to show it on the training pitch and that is the best way to give the best answer as to why he doesn't play.

"He is always trying to do his best but it is not always about the mentality of the player, it is about tactics, his movement, his productivity and those can all be reasons he did not start last week.''

"He can be very good, but it is all about knowing what you need to do. Sometimes I have to shout too much, he needs to run more."

"If I am not totally happy or it's a tactical question then he doesn't start. I still believe in his qualities but maybe its a good wake-up call for him last weekend.

"He is already playing four years in the first team. You are not any more 'a talent.' That means you need to show more and improve.

That last one is bang on and completely fair tbh.

More than one mention of him not doing it on the training ground? Smacks of attitude, let him go, good luck to him, i think he will soon find out that all the top managers expect their players to work their nuts off for the privilege of getting a starting place!

Or Moshiri could send that Russian hard man he has on the payroll to have a word with Scouse Ally

Yeah but spurs were never gonna bid this window with Levy smelling the sweet scent of a bosman

Time will tell if the players Spurs signed will contribute more than those they sold but for me their dealings have been almost a slight of hand in that they actually made a profit in the window .

For me the reason they didn't bid for RB was down to one thing and one thing only that being they dont have funds available nor do I expect them to have any unless they sell more players to be in for him in January.

Numbers for me tend to tell a story and a stadium rebuild what was going to cost £800 million has jumped in the last 6 months to what is starting to be reported as now being £850 million based on even £800 million there is a funding shortfall of £160 million which unless borrowings can be increased will have to be found from either ENIC , who have had to guarantee £50 million as part of the £400 million facility agreement, or from their own resources.

All this is spot on from Koeman and no different than what is posted on the forum about the lad (just a more fluffy version). Sick of Barkley now, would have been more patient if he was loyal to the club by signing a contract, but the lad hasn't and that shows he is not up to the challenge and is prepared to hide at another club and use lack of game time as an excuse. He will never amount to anything whilst he behaves like a child, he needs to mature fast before his career fades out. To be a world class player you have to be dedicated, professional and make sacrifices. I see none of these traits in Barkley.
