Just keep Barkley happy. He's the key one, the one who has another 10 years in him.
But he has to want to stay.
Sort of goes with what I'm saying, if (as I expect and I've said it many times) he joins Spurs in Jan or even worse the Summer then he will be the biggest Snake.
I didn't read the bottom two for obvious reasons and there are no quotes in any of the other links other than the Echo one where Koeman admits he needs to not be so honest (which I prefer honesty over managers who are blatant liars)
So all in all I'm still to see what some fans and Barkley are so offended over.
What about when he bettered Potchetinno at Southampton?
Bitterness has completely engulfed you now, Joey. You are laying the blame at everyone but Barkley, with some absolutely woeful reasoning.
He'll of let a lot of people down if he still jumps ship, people have backed him massively on this issue....”can these do a U-Turn”.
I sincerely hope he stays but imagine the fume if he still wants to leave. I suspect we’ll know very soon.

Last year when spurs were bumming us, Ross was the only one who fought, took the game to them and very nearly single handidly dragged us back into it, no coincidence spurs are after him, wasn't even his best game, but it was a vital one in his developmentI just don't know how we can keep Sigurdsson, Rooney, Barkley and Klaasen happy.
I don't want Klaasen to be written off and be made a scapegoat which is sold next summer probably back to Ajax.
I rate Sigurdsson as well. With the right kind of movement infront of him he will flourish 100%.
I believe Rooney is extremely important and he is a player, a leader on the picth, a fighter we need.
As for Barkley, I still don't think all of a sudden he will develop his balls and be the man. He has had 3 odd years to develop and will always become a chicken in tough situations. I'd honestly let him go.

I agree that there is no pace up there. But I think Sigurdsson was Koeman trying to replace Barkley, hopefully he doesn't be a snake and leave us then we have two players for that number 10 position.Keep him happy at the expense of 2 out of the other 3 no 10s would not be fair to them tbh. We spend 70M on Klaasen and Sigurdsson. Both are struggling cos of our form and not having pace around them. Ir would be extremely harsh on Klaasen if he is let go. Same for Sigu.
He was excellent that game.Last year when spurs were bumming us, Ross was the only one who fought, took the game to them and very nearly single handidly dragged us back into it, no coincidence spurs are after him, wasn't even his best game, but it was a vital one in his development
If siggy or klassen in particular were anywhere Ross's level maybe theres an argument for that, as it stands getting Ross motivated, signing a new deal, we need that a lot more than 25 mill, we need it more than siggy, and we definately need it more than klassenI remember that game. But he is still not mentally tough enough. His decision making is still very poor. He still goes missing for huge parts in games. The one manager who showed him reality and wanted him to wake up, he fell out with him and wanted to leave. Never once did Koeman say he WANTS Barkley to leave.
Now we have Klaasen and Sigurdsson so I believe those two should be given faith when we sign a striker. Rooney can always drop to CM. If Ross is happy to fight for his place and open to a substitute its fine but just cos he is a local lad he does not deserve a free pass. In Klaasen and Sigu I trust.

Absolute, complete nonsense. He's involved in pretty much everything we do when he plays - so much so that your criticism of his "decision making" is solely because he's on the ball so much.
