I think you should take a look at Ross's pass completion and ball retention stats, do you really believe klassen is a better player than ross?

As of this moment, no he is not. Does he have the potential? I 100% believe he has. If we keep faith in him and get 2 good strikers in, I am 100% sure both Sigurdsson and Klaasen would flourish. We are making the mistake of writing him off way too soon and not realising that you need time to adapt. Getting subbed on HT in every start hardly does good for your confidence.

The reason Klaasen was brought was to press from the front and then get involved in the attack. Clearly he is struggling in a new country and league. The same was the case for Eriksen in his 1st season. How he has adapted and flourished since.

But it wasn't, Eriksen was brilliant from the word go and Klaassen is very turd.

Book marking this faddy, eriksen was a million miles ahead of klassen at this stage of their careers

My hamstring feels better already now that frauds gone!

At long last I've found my new avatar

That's not what Ross is thinking btw, he's clearly thinking "in a bit moonhead"

Last year when spurs were bumming us, Ross was the only one who fought, took the game to them and very nearly single handidly dragged us back into it, no coincidence spurs are after him, wasn't even his best game, but it was a vital one in his development

If you're on about the game at WHL, yes Ross was superb that day but naturally got the dog's abuse because we lost.

Unsworth played this absolutely right with Barkley, he is our player, and to be utilised as and when, if he does play and is consistent then signs a new contract all good for Everton, that is all that matters.

Don’t think signing klaasan and Sigurdson was a bad thing, he expected Ross to leave and Rooney won’t last forever so it’s not like we bought 23 players for the same position.

I’ve heard Davy K will be back at Ajax I January.
I doubt they could afford to pay back even half of what he cost.

I agree that there is no pace up there. But I think Sigurdsson was Koeman trying to replace Barkley, hopefully he doesn't be a snake and leave us then we have two players for that number 10 position.

Barkley was brilliant for us last season, completely controlled many games as I've said numerous times, so if we can keep him and hopefully we will, then great. His reasoning for leaving was perulant, but that reason has now gone. Let's see what he does.
Except by Sigurdsson's own admission we were after him the year before so that's a no.

Lets hope Davy is given the chance and faith

Alright mate. What I'd say is Eriksen adapted quickly at Spurs. Its to be noted he was only 21 when he came to spurs. Klaasen is 24 so he has a certain pace of football entrenched in him from the Dutch league. That's why I would give him atleast 2 years to show what he is. He'd still be 26 or 27 then and if needs binning we can sell him then.

I just think Ross would have stepped up to be THE MAN by now but he hasn't. He'll be a decent player but not what we need to challenge top 4 or top 5.
