As of this moment, no he is not. Does he have the potential? I 100% believe he has. If we keep faith in him and get 2 good strikers in, I am 100% sure both Sigurdsson and Klaasen would flourish. We are making the mistake of writing him off way too soon and not realising that you need time to adapt. Getting subbed on HT in every start hardly does good for your confidence.

The reason Klaasen was brought was to press from the front and then get involved in the attack. Clearly he is struggling in a new country and league. The same was the case for Eriksen in his 1st season. How he has adapted and flourished since.

Soz mate, but what have you seen from Klaassen to suggest he has the potential to be better than Ross. They're about the same age ffs.

I think he could potentially be an OK player but what point is there discussing potential for Klaassen when at his age he should be the finished product at this point.

As it stands, we have two quality no 10s in Sigurdsson and Klaassen who have proved in recent years that they are good footballers and more productive overall than Barkley.

The number of goals and assists he has provides for Ajax speak for itself. The guy is making a switch from a different league to PL which many players find a struggle initially. 9 games are not enough to be judged on your good footballing abilities of 4 years.

This. And to compare him to a proven PL player who is from the same city as his club is absurd.

Davy could be better but so could Ross. There's always room for improvement that comes from experience. Also I seem to remember Davy being pretty involved so far with our brief moments of brilliance in open play this season.
