Funny thing is, he goes to spurs chances are he'll end up either on the bench for a team in Europa next season or starting for them to replace some of the players that will likely leave should they as looks likely limo home in sixth this season

This I'm afraid, Pochettino doesnt seem to alienate players - even Sissoko has been getting time on the pitch and Ross when in form is 5x the player he is.

He would get on the pitch, and if he ends up playing like he can he'd end up a starter, as much as it pains me.

Probably won't get more than 15 mil for him, would it be worth it just to keep him on for 6 months to see if he could help push us up a few places or maybe have a change of heart
I'm not even sure we will get that. Ultimately it depends if Spurs have anything to play for.

People think this season is a right off. With Bolasie, Coleman and Barkley coming back and a decent left back / CB and striker in January we can definitely push for Europe and the FA Cup

A lot of the same people who said Rom is rubbish are now saying Barkley wouldn't start for Spurs.

He would walk on to that team

Of course it’s done. He has to be sold to cover the overspend we made in the summer. Anyone who thinks he is staying is deluded

Sam knows exactly what’s going on he will have been briefed. He’s just trying to keep the illusion going that we are doing everything to keep him when in fact it’s quite the opposite

I'll feel more let down than disappointed if he leaves when we needed him. But it's his loss, not ours, cause he wont be playing much football next season.

...i’m afraid it’s a part of the modern game, Tim. Players have always come and players have always gone but loyalty is certainly a dying trait.

There's been a long list of players who left when they thought they'd outgrown Everton. Most of them massively regretted their decision.
Really?

The only recent one I can think of is Rodwell and city were lucky we didn't bite their arm of for what they paid.
