Sends an awful message to other players with deals that are running down.

In fact it's going to become an increasingly bigger problem with transfer fees so high now.

I don't think players simply fulfilling their contract obligations is the problem. Koeman publicly hanging him out to dry around this time last year was never likely to end well, especially for a player like Ross whose confidence seems to be a bit fragile at the best of times.

20m I would agree. 10m I would say screw it.

Plus if he thinks he won't play until next year he may sign a new deal. Look at Ozil and Sanchez. Arsenal aren't selling them.

At some point if we are to be taken seriously in regards to financial clout then we can't simply bend over and take it.

He will be no better off than here. They aren't keeping Ali or Eriksen beyond this year. The big Spanish teams are sniffing around and need rebuilding.

If they go so will Kane.

I'll feel more let down than disappointed if he leaves when we needed him. But it's his loss, not ours, cause he wont be playing much football next season.
