He`s not mate, he`s just having a bit of funI don’t know why you are all giving the full kit self abuser the time of day , it’s obvious he’s a rawkite
Yet he got right in front of Moshiri saying he left after a medical at Chelsea. Couldn't wait to set that record straight, could he?The fact not one single word from him or anyone else, or even an update on his injury points to this being true.
Thing is did he ever pass that medical? evidently big sam stated on Talksport it is a grade two tear with complications, if that is still the case he may have difficulty moving anywhere - even in January!Yet he got right in front of Moshiri saying he left after a medical at Chelsea. No, he walked out of it mate and then denied it ever happened which is a strange thing to do because you would think our owner would want to be correct about those sort of things when phoning up old Jim for a chat on deadline day and all of the papers had been reporting it.Thing is did he ever pass that medical? evidently big sam stated on Talksport it is a grade two tear with complications, if that is still the case he may have difficulty moving anywhere - even in January!
There are varying stories of what happened! No, he walked out of it mate and then denied it ever happened which is a strange thing to do because you would think our owner would want to be correct about those sort of things when phoning up old Jim for a chat on deadline day and all of the papers had been reporting it.
Michael Owen had a similar one and was never the same - had to retire!...even if he starts training i’d be wary of the ‘curse of the hamstring’ returning any time soon.
My understanding is the root cause was a ‘deep massage’, which in that area of the leg can be very painful and ill advised. I also understand the person who administered the massage is very unpopular at USM FF because certain staff were on a % of the Barkley transfer (this is the case for home grown players). The transfer failings cost people a lot of money apparently.

There lies the problem it may be another Jack Rodwell who allegedly had a hamstring pain seen a top specialist abroad several times before they found out and it was a lower disc problem in his back with related pain into his leg also never recovered did he!..Owen was a sprinter, it’s normally that type who suffer. The indication with Barkley is that the ‘deep ‘massage’ might well have caused the injury to occur. The length of time out suggests a major muscle tear and it’s something he will have to manage through his career.
Exactly if he had passed a medical he would be there now imo!But did he walk or was he pushed?

Barkley is not a slow player he has or used to have pace and power he is certainly on form faster than the Sig etc if he is in trouble with this injury long term - He may never show anymore potential or even go backwards too risky for any club to take that gamble!...there’s long been the connection between the back and hamstring, Joey. I recall Ian Rush having extensive back exercise to counter his problems. I know to my own cost that when they start they often return because scar tissue tends to pop again. Ian Snodin suffered dreadfully but he was another of those pacey types (unlike Barkley and James McCarthy).
