Phoenix is nothing compared to The Office. Stand by that.
Be interesting to see how he gets on at Chelsea either way. They've got a hell of a lot of midfielders but he'll probably play the Bakayoko role when fit and I'm guessing he'll be dead good at it. Because he's actually a very good kicker of a ball.
Its a shame, thats what it is, ignore all the he said she said bullsh, we are gonna lose a talented lad.
Cant blame the lad for putting his own needs first, whatever his motivation is, its up to Ross Barkley to do whats best for Ross Barkley, will be gutted to see the lad play for somebody else, no hard feelings from me, so I wont be wishing injury or harm on the lad, meh.
Obviously the money is important and 15-20m can be reinvested. But part of me wants to see Ross the Rat suffer on the U23s substitutes bench for the rest of his contract. Make him clean the first teams boots, make him earn his completely undeserved 50k a week, and make him do continuous lunges in training until his hamstring gets so damaged that he can never touch his toes again.

Its been there plan all along;
Conveniently Barkley is back in training now as Chelsea submit a bid.
Obviously they're minted, so the odd ten million here or there doesn't make much difference to them, but, if they could save ten million on a transfer and, say, four million on wages, then they can sign him now, and give him a five million "Golden Hello", and still be quids in. After all, it all helps them in their FFP stuff.
You can call me an old cynic if you like !
Dont like the fact that we are being short changed for a quality player but I dont think you can criticise him on moving to Chelsea. Its not like he's off to West Ham etc.
He wont start every game but with all the games they play he will get enough minutes, playing with Willian, Hazard, Fabregas etc plus the bonus of they will be challenging for trophies nearly every season.
Money. Plus he thinks he's better then he is.I don’t get why he would go to Chelsea as well, the way they set up doesn’t suit him what so ever.
