Need to move on from the anger people....

I thought he was a diamond, we have really missed his type of play this year (the going forward thing), thank him for the seasons he has given us and wish him well.

If he goes to Chelsea or Tottenham I cannot see him being a regular, but not our issue!

Sam has a rumoured 70 million to spend (if news now is to be believed) plus whatever he can get in transfer fees

Tosun in, Seri to replace Ross (cant see it but WOW if it happens), N'Zonzi to give us the fight in midfield, plus a left back

We will improve by the end of the window, have faith in the GRAVY TRAIN....

No newsnow is NOT to be believed, under any circumstances at all.

It used to be a half decent place for half decent news, now its just clickbait utter tosh.

How much will we get?

Newnow isn’t even a news site or source... it’s just an automated website which automatically collects and categorises stories from various websites they have deemed as worthy news sources.

The problem is their bar is so low for football that just about any chump can apply to be listed there which is why you end up with countless fanblog style sites as well as the usual lowest common denominator click bait sites like [Publication is blacklisted due to spam] polluting the news feed.

Lost £20m on him, but there you are.

I know full well that he's going to regret this moment. He's a young man, he needs to be playing week-in-week-out to get to his potential; and there's not a snowball's chance in hell he's going to do that at Chelsea.

Lukaku left after he watched Moshiri invest f.a. in that first summer. That's when his mind was made up. Barkley has been prodded to the door by Moshiri.
Give over, the only thing other than money that 'prodded' Barkley out the door, was the prod in the kisser he got in the club

New now ha I look at it a lot most is garbage especially [Publication is blacklisted due to spam] ha

Usually when you see 5 or more with same info on news now there could be something to it.

However like most have said it’s trash.

It would not even show it ha H-I-T-C
Is what got blacklisted

How Everton have escaped any blame in all this is amazing. He should never have been allowed to get to the stage where he has 1 year left on his deal. Did we assume that the fact that he's an 'Evertonian' means we dont have to worry about a new deal for him and take it for granted that he would just sign?

Terrible from the club.

Ok mate, what exactly does the club do to stop a player turning down contracts and transfers?

Stick him up on Ebay with a buy it now button or something?

.
Except he has cost us money, quite a bit of it. He signed in summer and the transfer fee is far larger than what it will be now. And for what? If a club waited another 5 months they could get the English international for free minus a tribunal fee which would be even lower again than now.

So when the transfer market is inflated so much now, potentially 35 million could end up being 9 million if he left on a free transfer. I know which amount makes it easier to replace him afterwards would be?

Plus even the side point of if he did leave for 35 million, makes his essential replacement in koemans eyes only 10 million which despite the high fee, makes him cheaper to us

No tribunal fee at all mate, he';s 24 years old, IF he runs out his contract he goes for nowt

Do you mean any English players who have moved for cheap or moved at all and prospered as a result? Stones is a big one.

Regardless, Barkley will play for a better team than us, get paid more than when with us, and have at least half a shot at getting into their team. Him and his agent must think it's worth it or they wouldn't be doing it.

From his agents perspective moving him to a Chelsea is a great move, gets a nice big fee, chances are the player won't last there much more than a few seasons, so he will end up getting sold on lower down the league - cue another sizeable fee to a West Ham or Newcastle, he does well there he probably gets a third move before he is 30 a further up the pyramid of teams - he flops there then he goes further down the chain to the likes of a Palace or West Brom etc.

He signs and stays at one club all his career, then the agent will miss out on upwards of about 10m over his career, what would you do in said agents books?

Given the escalating fees for players these days, the amount agents can earn from shifting players is going up proportionally, you will see many many more agents following this line with their clients, ultimately the clients careers will suffer in terms of everything besides the financial side of things.

It's just a site which collects anything whatsoever connected to Everton story wise isn't it? hence the good the bad and the clickbaity.

Aye it is indeed, from memory they actually created spam accounts on here with people putting up threads and links to their site for Everton related stories, hence why they are banned.

Thinks that's correct isn't it @MoutsGoat ?

Is there an official proper offer for him? It would be hilarious if January runs out and no offer made, just the sound of chirping crickets and tumbling tumbleweeds.

Some posters still bother to find every sort of excuses like blaming Koeman or da gangster or even the fans for his decision to screw the club for losing millions of sterling pounds.

The fact is that he rejected a new contract last year. He reportedly rejected a move to Chelski on the last day of the transfer window in August 2017 for £35m. Our majority owner even said he pulled out of a medical right? 4 months past by, he is running down his contract to the final 6 months. It looks like he is getting his move for £15m now. If you do the calculation, Everton were taking a good care of him, giving him rahabilitation or medical for the lad in these 4 months which in theory the club are losing £5m per month if the quoted fee in the media of £15m is to be believed.

I believe he plainly gives his mid f to this football club. Rat or snake whatever you want to call fellow toffees. Why exactly the club let him runnning down his contract in such manner? It is clear they share the same level of responsibility too.
