Chelsea could have bid just so they could speak to him, then when they spoke to him they said we want you but wait until January or whatever. In such a situation Everton have lost out on nothing because Chelsea never had any intention of signing him last transfer window.

Bottom line, no one here has a clue yet everyone thinks they got it sussed out.

I'm not sure why it matters if Ross had a medical or not. A fee was agreed to.

I also cannot believe anyone is defending this effin guy. We agreed to a fee, he pulled out by his account, and then he's going to sign up with the exact same team, get a better deal for himself and screw Everton out of 20M pounds. It's complete crap. Personally, I would think there HAS to be tampering. HAS to be. Why would he wait? Only one reason, one reason only. For more money for him. How does he know he'd get more money? Hmmmmm....

...regardless, he's a piece of garbage for doing it. It's a blatant slap in the face to his hometown club.

He stayed because he wants Spurs not Chelsea, as soon as they come in he will be gone.
Ross has been practising his "finger moves" so that he will fit in with the rest of the Spurs lads.
 
I may be the only one to think this but as much as I’m disappointed that he is leaving I think he will do well at his new club.

I also think the reasons for him wanting to leave are more to do with getting away from Liverpool and Merseyside rather than out of Everton FC.

At some point in the future it will all come out on the wash for sure.

Well, according to Matt Law( best source for anything Chelsea related), Barkley wants to join Chelsea too now. Looks like it will be completed today
 
When he’s gone the club need to release a statement clarifying the facts about why his contract was not renewed, any new contracts offered to him and why his transfer to Chelsea failed last August costing us millions of pounds.

I fully trust that these statements will be impartial and a 100% accurate portrayal of what happened...
 
Need to move on from the anger people....

I thought he was a diamond, we have really missed his type of play this year (the going forward thing), thank him for the seasons he has given us and wish him well.

If he goes to Chelsea or Tottenham I cannot see him being a regular, but not our issue!

Sam has a rumoured 70 million to spend (if news now is to be believed) plus whatever he can get in transfer fees

Tosun in, Seri to replace Ross (cant see it but WOW if it happens), N'Zonzi to give us the fight in midfield, plus a left back

We will improve by the end of the window, have faith in the GRAVY TRAIN....
