The offer in the summer was 30m so we’re 15m down straight away. He’s had 5 months of wages which is what….. 50grand a week say? So that’s roughly another million he’s fleeced from a club he not played for all season and has absolutely no intention and staying at. Hardly the behaviour of a true blue!

one that deserves boooing.

Just to repeat what i said yesterday really in that this stinks. Had he left for Chelsea in the Summer i wouldn't have been this arsed - but its clear there's been a deal between him and Chelsea that he's to get fit whilst Everton still pay his wages and they'll return in January for a smaller fee & bigger signing on fee. Fair play, the lads got himself a move to Chelsea (cant see where he fits in) but he'll be playing in the CL and winning trophies - but the way he/his reps/Chelsea have sorted the deal stinks.

What would you say if the situation was reversed and Everton went and spent circa £30m on someone who was injured and added to that would be out until the next transfer window?

I already have a low opinion of Walsh and our transfer dealings in general, but I think the above scenario would be ludicrous even by our standards.

On Barkley, if I was him I'd go to Spurs. Pochetinno will improve him and Spurs will stick with him. More so than Chelsea.
